Sausage with good accessories

RECIPE

Four yummy sausage accessories that are perfect for seasonal excursions where sausage grilling is at the center. Of course, all recipes can be adapted to become vegan: Just replace the dairy products of your choice. These recipes are so easy, just to mix. Then serve with optional bread and grilled sausage from Peas of Heaven. Easy Peasy!

POTATO SALAD

  • 350 grams of hard boiled potatoes
  • 1 ½ dl crème fraiche or matyoghurt
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 / 2dl capers
  • Flingsalt
  • Black pepper

CORN MASH WITH FLAVOUR OF CORIANDER AND JALAPENOS

  • About 300 grams of canned corn
  • 1 / 2dl pickled jalapeños, chopped
  • 1/2 pot coriander
  • Flingsalt
  • Black pepper

COLESLAW

  • 100g cabbage
  • 50g kale
  • 1 apple
  • 1 ½ dl crème fraiche
  • 1 / 2dl mayonnaise
  • Salt flakes
  • Black pepper

Shred the cabbage and dice the apple. Mix with remaining ingredients.

ALMOND ROASTED ONION

  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1 / 2dl almonds
  • Salt flakes

Fry the onion in plenty of oil and chopped almonds. Add a pinch of salt and remove from the stove when the onion has turned golden brown and soft.
